After finishing her MBA, Colleen started her career on the Pfizer finance graduate rotation program, her first role was treasury…and it was love at first sight. Over 10 years in the Pfizer treasury team she held many roles up to Senior Director level. Colleen decided to join a smaller group to broaden her experience, joining ITT, a diversified industrial company as assistant treasurer, quickly becoming treasurer and then after the spin Treasurer, head of IR and FP&A. After 4 years she moved back to pharma with Mylan, whereas treasurer also covered IR. A challenging time where investor relations was front and centre! 18 months ago Colleen started with Visa Inc.as Group Treasurer based in the San Francisco Bay area.
Colleen shares with us her experience on Work-Life-Balance or as she calls it Work-Life-Integration. She discusses her experiences of having a baby during one of the most stressful times in her career and why being a YES person doesn’t serve you in the long run.
